Quinceanera or Quinceanero is an occasion that is celebrated in many Latin American countries. Quinceanera is similar to mitzvah since girls become officially women after their 15th birthdays. Quinceanera invitations and parties and can range from formal or trendy depending on the type of guests who will be attending the party.

Celebration of Quinceanera differs from one country to another or by the financial condition of the parents. People will low incomes generally tend to celebrate with their close friends and family perhaps by a celebratory mass. Generally the first part of the party is formal while the second half is for the teenage guests to enjoy.

The Quinceanera parties can be held in clubhouses, fancy hotel ballrooms or even in large halls. The greatest advantage of such parties is that the honored girl can have a male escort at her party and is allowed to her first date. Modern music can also be played and the party can last all nights where young kids get let their hair down and groove to their favorite tunes.
