July 27, 2011 – There’s been a new touch screen phone released by Straight Talk wireless. It is the newest phone to be released onto this prepaid wireless plan or set of plans. The Samsung t528g is a touch screen phone that works with either of the two Straight Talk plans that are currently heating up the airwaves and gaining quite a bit of new customers pretty much every day. It doesn’t hurt that the phones are pushed pretty hard by WalMart, where they are primarily sold (but they can also be purchased online at the official website, which is actually the preferred place to buy these phones).
The Samsung t528 touch screen phone has a beautiful screen that takes up the bulk of the front of the phone. It’s a pretty nice looking phone with mobile web services (meaning you can browse the web), instant messaging capability, and an mp3 player. This Straight Talk touchscreen phone has a 2 megapixel camera, 3G/wifi connectivity, bluetooth wireless technology, and even can handle apps downloaded from the Internet.
This phone can be used with all of the available Straight Talk prepaid plans. At the moment, there are two plans available. The Unlimited plan gives you unlimited talk, web browsing, and all the text messaging you can send and receive. This is the more popular plan because there is a pretty good value in the price or $45 per month, which really is not that high for such an all intensive plan. The Samsung t528g costs just a hair under $100, which means that right off the bat, you will spend $145 for the phone and one month of the Straight Talk unlimited plan or $130 for the phone and one month of the basic plan.
Straight Talk is very competitive with other prepaid companies. Some of the chief competition is Virgin Mobile and MetroPCS. Other new phones released by Straight talk are the Nokia E71, Nokia 6790, and the Samsung r355c.
